Sophia Zissimou

Sophia Zisimou is the co-founder of NWMW and producer with extensive experience in managing multimedia projects and digital platforms. She studied Applied Informatics (MSc) at the University of Macedonia and Economics (BS), and in 2020 she co-founded Nomos AmKe. She has served as Project Manager on numerous projects, such as the Tinos Virtual Museum (2016–2019) and the Academic Open Courses of the National Technical University of Athens (2012–2016), undertaking production coordination, application design, software and multimedia platform development, as well as partner and infrastructure management. At the same time, he participates in the creation and editing of content for themonster.gr as Co-creator, Editor-in-Chief, and Developer, covering topics related to technology, art, cinema, and music.
In the field of culture and the performing arts, she has collaborated with Aris Retsos on productions such as “Throne of Atreus,” “Tavli” and “Bad Blood,” taking on production coordination, public relations, and artistic direction, while also serving as audiovisual manager at the Athens Photo Festival and the Med I krv 3 organization. She has written articles for Cinepivates (2010–2013) on cinema topics, has knowledge of French and basic Spanish, and has extensive experience in office software, image and video editing, programming, and database management, such as MS Office, Adobe Suite, Premiere, After Effects, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and MySQL.

The Toichos project, which surprisingly is pronounced teehos, meaning wall in Greek is a multifaceted initiative organized by @nwmw.gr based on the idea of @mathias.palazzi aiming to connect traditional techniques with contemporary architectural practice combining foreign and local points of view on a multidisciplinary level.
